Assigning POS users to a configuration

It is possible to assign a POS configuration to certain POS users. The configuration is then only visible for these assigned users. This function is helpful if certain users only work in certain parts of a business and with specific menus. 

To assign a configuration to a user:

  1. Log in to the Back Office with your Lightspeed Restaurant account credentials.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Configuration > Configurations.
  3. Select Edit in the configuration bar to be adjusted.
  4. Assign POS users to this configuration by selecting the appropriate users under Staff to allow within this configuration in the Connections section.
  5. Select Save.
