POS users with a PIN code assigned must enter their 4-digit code in the Lightspeed Restaurant POS app to clock in or out and to access the app. Reset an employee's PIN code from the Restaurant Back Office if they forget it or want to change it for any reason.

To reset a PIN code used to log in to the Restaurant POS app:
- Log in to the Back Office with your Lightspeed Restaurant credentials.
- From the navigation menu, select Configuration > Users > POS users.
- Click Configure next to the user whose PIN code must be reset.
- Select Change pin code.
- Enter a new 4-digit pin code, then click OK to save changes.
