Finding your way around the Back Office requires understanding its two main components: the navigation menu and header. The navigation menu contains links to all Back Office sections and features, and the header allows you to access account management and support pages quickly.

We currently support two Back Offices: the Back Office 2.0 (sidebar navigation) and the Console Back Office (top-level navigation).
The updated Back Office offers new and updated features, including improved navigation.
To use Back Office 2.0, click here and log in with your current Back Office credentials.

In the updated Back Office, the navigation menu is located on the left sidebar and the header is located at the top of the page as shown in the following image.
Navigation menu
The navigation menu, located on the left sidebar, contains links to all sections and features of the Back Office. The table in this section provides an overview of each default top-level menu section and its function.

Home | Click to return to the Dashboard page. See Understanding the Dashboard page for more information on this section. |
Menu management | Where to add, edit, and manage items, menus, and accounting groups. See About menu management for more information about the features in this section. |
Configuration | Where to manage account settings, POS devices and device configurations, printers and printer settings, users and user groups, and payment methods. |
Reports | Where to access the Sales dashboard and other reporting, such as sales and staff reports. See About reporting for more information about the features in this section. |
Hours | Where to view user shifts and hours worked and add new user shifts. See About Hours for more information about the features in this section. |
Integration | Where to set up and manage services that integrate with Lightspeed Restaurant, such as accounting, delivery, and property management systems. |
Customers | Where to add, view and manage customer information, gift cards, and loyalty cards. |
Header
The header, located at the top of the Back Office, contains links to support resources and account management features, such as changing the Back Office language and logging out. The table in this section provides an overview of each header section and its function.

Help | Click to view your Business ID and to access links to the Help Center, tutorial videos, support email address, and System status page. |
Language | Change the language used in Back Office menus and sections to German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, or Dutch. |
User name | Click to view and change the name, email address, and password for your account, to manage your subscription and billing invoices (select accounts only), or to log out of the Back Office. |
