Checking order reports and customer reviews

Check order reports and customer reviews from the Order Anywhere Back Office. Order reports help you track and understand your transaction history by providing insights into your customer’s ordering patterns and preferences. Customer reviews allow you to gather valuable feedback, address concerns, and enhance your business’ overall performance.

Checking order reports

Order reports provide a snapshot of past and upcoming orders. The top tiles show the number of orders for the current day, future days, past days, and the total number of orders. This section explains how to read and understand these reports effectively, getting the most out of your ordering data.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. From the navigation menu, go to Orders.
  3. Read your order reports.
  4. (Optional) To read a specific order report, click the three dots icon on the right to expand the order and view its details.

Filter options

  • All: Displays all orders, including past and future orders.
  • Today: Displays all of today’s orders, applies to all orders to be picked up today.
  • Tomorrow: Displays all orders for tomorrow, applies to all orders to be picked up tomorrow.
  • Future: Displays all future orders, applies to all orders to be collected from the day after tomorrow.
  • Filters: Select a category of filter and choose a specific filter under the category selected. 
    • Order status: Displays orders depending on their status (Pending, Confirmed, Failed, Paid failed, or Cancelled).
    • Date: Pick a specific pick-up date.
    • Profile: Choose a certain Order Anywhere profile that you set up previously in the Order Anywhere Back Office.
    • Order type: Display orders depending on their order type (online or in-person).
    • Payment type: Select from online or in-person payment methods.

Information provided

  • Collection code: Displays the unique order ID.
  • Order status: Displays the current status of the order:
    • Pending: A customer placed the order, but it hasn't been received by the POS yet.
    • Confirmed: The order was successfully sent to and received by the POS.
    • Failed: An error prevented the order from being received at the POS. This can occur if the Restaurant POS app is not open.
    • Payment failed: The customer’s online credit or debit card payment was declined.
    • Canceled: The order was voided at the POS.
  • Order type: Indicates the Order Anywhere ordering profile associated with the order, particularly useful for restaurants using Order Anywhere for both online and in-person ordering.
  • Created: The date and time when the customer submitted the order.
  • Pick-up time: Displays the customer’s selected pickup date and time, or in the case of ASAP orders the creation time plus your preparation time.
  • Amount: The value of the order.
  • View order details: Click the three dots to open the order details to see the ordered items, customer information, and payment details.

  • Collection code: Displays the pickup code assigned to the customer, also found in the customer's order confirmation email.
  • Profile: Indicates the configuration profile associated with the order.
  • Order type: Indicates the Order Anywhere ordering profile associated with the order, particularly useful for restaurants using Order Anywhere for both online and in-person ordering.
  • Amount: The value of the order.
  • Created: The date and time when the customer submitted the order.
  • Pick-up time: Displays the customer’s selected pickup date and time, or in the case of ASAP orders the creation time plus your preparation time.
  • Order ID: Identifies the order's unique Order Anywhere ID.
  • Note: Displays the personalized message left by the customer.

Checking customer reviews

Only customer reviews submitted after August 24, 2022 will appear in your Order Anywhere account.

Check customer reviews for your Order Anywhere account to see what guests have to say about your restaurant. After the expected pickup time, your customers will receive an email with a link to provide feedback about their experience using a star rating system and an optional comment box (max 1,000 characters). Once a customer submits their review, you can access it directly from your Order Anywhere account.

Accessing customer reviews

The Reviews page allows you to see individual customer reviews, as well as a bar graph demonstrating your total and average reviews, categorized by star rating.Order Anywhere reviews page with a couple of example reviews.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. From the navigation menu, click Reviews. By default, Order Anywhere lists reviews by date and time in descending order (newest to oldest). You cannot edit, delete, or respond to reviews. 
  3. (Optional) Use the search bar to find reviews based on keywords, such as the name of an item.
  4. (Optional) Click Filter to sort your reviews by Rating, Language, or Feedback Type (with or without comment).

Finding order details associated with a customer review

You can find the order details associated with a customer review, such as the customer name, email address, and the items ordered. You can also use this information to contact your customers, should you need to reach them.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. From the navigation menu, click Reviews.
  3. Locate the review you'd like to read.
  4. Click the review ID to open the order details.
  5. (Optional) To switch between orders, click the arrows in the upper-right corner.
