Setting up Order Anywhere

Order Anywhere is a paid add-on. Get in touch with your account manager or email sales@lightspeedhq.com to purchase an Order Anywhere subscription.

Order Anywhere is a mobile-friendly online ordering platform that integrates directly with the Lightspeed Restaurant POS app. To set up the basics of Order Anywhere, you’ll need to log in to your account, update your business details, and customize your settings.

Logging in to Order Anywhere Back Office

Before setting up Order Anywhere, you’ll need to login to the Order Anywhere Back Office. There, you’ll be able to customize your settings, create service profiles, and manage your account. If you have multiple locations, then you can set up multiple Order Anywhere accounts and manage them all in one place.

  1. Open Order Anywhere on your web browser.
  2. Click Log in to your account.Order
  3. Click Lightspeed Restaurant POS (K-Series).
  4. Click Continue to login page.
  5. Enter your Lightspeed Restaurant K-Series credentials.
  6. Click Log in.
  7. (Optional) If you have multiple Order Anywhere accounts, click the restaurant name shown at the top of the navigation bar and select your desired location.

Updating your business details

Update your business details to ensure your customers see the most current information on your Order Anywhere web page, such as your restaurant name, address, website, and phone number.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. From the navigation menu, click My account.
  3. Fill in the Business information section. All fields are required to ensure your business details are correct.
    • Trade name: Enter your business name.
    • Email: Enter the email associated with your business.
    • Website: Enter the website associated with your business.
    • Phone: Enter the phone number of your business.
    • Business type: Select the type of business from the drop-down menu.Order Anywhere business information page
  4. Fill in the Address section.
    • Street name and number: Enter the physical address of your business.
    • Country: Enter the country where your business is located.
    • Zip or postal code: Enter the zip or postal code of your business location.
    • City: Enter the name of the city where your business is located.
  5. Fill in the Automatic emails section.
    • Preferred language: Select your preferred language for automatic emails sent to your customers.
  6. Fill in the Social media section.
    • Social media platform: Select your desired social media platform from the dropdown menu.
    • URL: Enter the website associated with your social media page
    • (Optional) Add link: Click Add link to add more social media pages to your website.
  7. Click Save.

Customizing Order Anywhere settings

Customize your Order Anywhere settings by updating your profile appearance, business hours, and order settings.

Payment settings are covered in Enabling Order Anywhere payments.

Appearance

Upload a banner image or logo to display at the top of your customer-facing Order Anywhere page.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. Click Settings on the navigation bar.
  3. Select the Appearance tab.Order Anywhere appearance page
  4. Add a banner image. If you don’t add a banner image or you remove an existing one, then Order Anywhere will display a stock image instead.
    1. Drag and drop the file into the box next to Banner image, or click the box to browse for the image. The file must be a .JPG or .PNG format, under 1 MB in size, and 1080px or higher in resolution.
    2. Select the order types that your profile image will appear in by enabling Pickup, Table, and/or Menu browsing.
    3. (Optional) To remove the banner image, click Delete.
  5. Add a logo. You can upload light and dark mode logos. If you only upload one logo, then it will be used for both modes. If you don’t add a logo or you remove all existing ones, then Order Anywhere will display your business name to customers instead.
    1. Drag and drop the file into the box under Light mode or Dark mode, or click a box to browse for the image. The file must be .JPG or .PNG format, under 5 MB in size, and 1700px or higher in resolution.
    2. (Optional) Add another logo for the other color scheme.
    3. Click Preview to see how your logo will look to customers on both desktop and mobile devices.
    4. (Optional) To remove your logo, click Delete.
  6. Click Save.

Business hours

Adjusting your business hours lets customers know when your restaurant is open and ready to take orders. Outside your business hours, your restaurant will be shown as Closed on the Order Anywhere web page.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. From the navigation bar, click Settings.
  3. Select the Business hours tab.Order Anywhere business hours page
  4. Toggle on the days you offer online ordering.
  5. Fill in the hours you will accept online orders.
  6. (Optional) It’s also possible to create different shifts:
    1. Click Add shift.
    2. Fill in the hours when customers can order.
  7. Click Save.

Order settings

Manage order settings to define the amount of time it takes to prepare orders, control item availability, and enable customer reviews.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. Click Settings on the navigation bar.
  3. Select the Order settings tab.Order Anywhere order settings page
  4. Fill in the appropriate information.
    • Item availability: Toggle on Activate snooze to enable the ability to make items in your online menus temporarily unavailable.
    • Customer reviews: Toggle on Customer review emails to enable customer review emails to be sent.
  5. Click Save.
