Hi. How can we help?

Understanding item languages

By setting item languages and adding descriptions, you can give your customers more information about each item in multiple languages. This description will appear on the POS device when you tap and hold the item for a few seconds.

Item names, descriptions, and images will also sync with Order Anywhere.

Setting up item languages

Item languages allow you to display information in languages of your choice. Select the languages your customers speak to allow them to read about your items in the language they feel most comfortable in.

  1. Log in to the Back Office with your Lightspeed credentials.
  2. From the main navigation menu, select Configuration > Settings > Item languages.
  3. Select the entry field next to the Languages, then choose your desired languages from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Update to finish.
