Troubleshooting
My iPad stand isn't charging my iPad
In order for your iPad stand to charge your iPad, the USB-C power cable must be plugged in at all times. If the cable is removed from the iPad stand, charging issues will occur. To verify if your iPad is charging, look for the lightning bolt icon on the battery.
If your iPad stand isn't charging your iPad:
- Confirm you're using the included Lightspeed USB-C to USB-C cable and a Lightspeed or Apple 20W or higher brick.
- Unplug the USB-C cable from the base of the iPad stand.
- Wait 30 seconds, then plug the USB-C cable back into the iPad stand.
- On your iPad, navigate to Settings > Face ID & Passcode. (On older models, this page may be called Touch ID & Passcode.)
- Scroll down to the Allow access when locked section and enable Accessories. This feature prevents your iPad from disconnecting from the stand when locked.
If you're still experiencing charging issues, restart your iPad by navigating Settings > General > Shut Down and dragging the slider to power off the iPad. To turn your iPad back on, press and hold the top button (or side button) until you see the Apple logo.
