Hi. How can we help?

Synced reservations report

Reservations shared with Lightspeed can be accessed in the Back Office. Consulting the synced reservations report could be helpful when trying to verify a reservation, validating a deposit, or making sure an order was opened when a reservation was marked seated.

Understanding the synced reservations report

Depending on the integration partner, reservations and their information are shared differently.

  • OpenTable: All reservations, information, and updates are shared with Lightspeed. Additionally, deposits are supported.
  • TheFork: Reservations are only shared with Lightspeed once they’ve been marked as arrived or seated.
  • SevenRooms: All reservations and updates are shared with Lightspeed, and stored in the notes field. Additionally, deposits are supported.
  • Resy: Reservations and their information aren’t shared with Lightspeed.

Reading the synced reservations report

If a reservation is missing from the report, then it wasn’t properly synced from the partner integration, and might require some troubleshooting steps.

  1. Log in to the Back Office with your Lightspeed Restaurant credentials.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Operations > Synced reservations.
  3. (Optional) Click the clock icon to modify the reporting date range. You can set a custom date range using the calendar, or choose one of the predefined options, such as today, this week, last week, this month, or last month.
  4. Verify when a reservation was created, the guest's name, assigned table, reservation status, and order state.
