With an active Order Anywhere account, you can integrate your business with Google to access powerful features for expanding your reach.
- A Google Business Profile controls how your business appears in Google products, such as Search and Maps. You can sync business hours, social media links, and other details directly from Order Anywhere to Google. With the Google performance dashboard, you can view data such as total profile views, website clicks, and your average rating on Google reviews.
- Order with Google allows customers to order from your restaurant in Google Search and Maps. Anyone who finds your business on Google will be able to view your menu and access your Order Anywhere website.
Connecting your Google Business Profile to Order Anywhere is not required to be able to use Order with Google.
Connecting a Google Business Profile to Order Anywhere
By connecting a Google Business Profile, you can automatically sync business details from Order Anywhere to Google for customers to see when they search for your business. Synced business details include:
- Opening and holiday hours
- Social media links
- Business address and phone number
- Five-star customer reviews (opt-in required)*
*Customers who leave a five-star review are redirected and asked to share their review on Google.
- Check if your business is currently listed on Google.
- Visit https://business.google.com/add.
- Sign in to, or create, a Google account associated with your business.
- Search for your business name. If it appears, skip step 1d and proceed to step 2.
- If your business does not appear, click Add your business to Google. Follow the prompts to enter all required details.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- Go to your Order Anywhere settings and verify your business name, address, phone number, business hours, and social media links are correct. If necessary, make changes.
- From the navigation menu, go to Integrations.

Click Set up under Google Business Profile.

Select Allow when asked to let mylightspeed.app access your Google account.

Follow the prompts to claim your Google business account, integrating it with Order Anywhere.
Once your account is claimed, business details from Order Anywhere will automatically sync to the business listing customers see on Google. If you make changes in Order Anywhere, those changes will also sync to Google.
Tracking your Google Business Profile performance
The Google performance dashboard for your Google Business Profile allows you to monitor growth and visibility over time, understand how customers interact with your business, and view whether customers are discovering your business via intent or proximity.
Accessing the Google performance dashboard
Once you've connected your Google Business Profile, the Google performance dashboard will appear in the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, select Integrations.
Understanding the Google performance dashboard
The performance dashboard displays metrics for your Google Business Profile synced from Order Anywhere, including its visibility on Google Maps, customer engagement through Google search, and average rating in Google reviews. This data covers the previous 90 days.
Before the data in the dashboard, there are some quick actions for managing your connection with Google:

Review profile data: Sometimes the connection between Order Anywhere and Google can expire and needs to be refreshed.
- Click Review profile data.
- Confirm your business details on the pop-up window and then click Sync to Google.
- Unlink location: Remove the connection between your business and Google in Order Anywhere.
- View on Google: View your business information on Google as it appears to customers.
Google presence at a glance
The cards in this section display a quick summary of your performance on Google.
- Total views: The total number of views on Google. This number is a combination of Google Maps and search results.
- Total engagement: The total number of clicks on your business profile on Google.
- Average rating: The average rating of your business based on Google reviews.
Visibility
The visibility section breaks down how visible your business is on Google. Most of your visibility comes from search results, which attracts more relevant traffic from Google Maps.
- Total views: The total number of views on Google. This number is a combination of Google Maps and search results.
- Map views: The total number of views coming from Google Maps.
- Search views: The total number of views coming from search results.
- Device breakdown: The percentage of views coming from mobile devices and desktop computers.
- Visibility breakdown: A graph of the number of search views and Maps views over the past 90 days. Use this graph to learn when views were highest and whether search or Maps brought the most views. Hover over a point on the graph to view the exact number of search views and Maps views.
Engagement
The engagement section breaks down what parts of your business profile customers are clicking on, compares your click rate to the industry standard, and recommends how to bring your engagement rate up.
- Total engagement: The total number of clicks on your business profile on Google in all areas.
- Directions clicks: The total number of clicks on Google's directions to your business.
- Phone clicks: The total number of clicks on your phone number.
- Reservation clicks: The total number of clicks on the reservation option on Google, if applicable.
- Website clicks: The total number of clicks taking customers to your website.
Reputation
The reputation section breaks down your business's reputation on Google based on ratings from reviews.
- Average rating: The average rating of your business based on Google reviews.
- Total reviews: The total number of reviews in the past 90 days.
- OA 5-star redirects: The total number of reviews from Order Anywhere pushed to Google.
- 5-star reviews: The total number of 5-star reviews on Google.
- Ratings breakdown: A graphical breakdown comparing the amount of 5-star reviews made directly on Google and the amount of times Order Anywhere redirected a 5-star review to Google.
Setting up Order with Google
Order with Google allows customers to search for your restaurant on Google and click Order Pickup or Order Delivery to place orders via your Order Anywhere website. Your Order Anywhere menu and images will also sync for customers to view in your Google profile, even if they don't click your ordering link.
- Order with Google requires a Google Business Profile registered under the same name and address as your Lightspeed Restaurant account. You can either sync your business details from Order Anywhere or set up the Business Profile completely in Google.
- Before setting up this feature, you must have created at least one Pickup and delivery service profile in Order Anywhere.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, select Integrations.
- From the Order with Google section, click Set up Order with Google.

Select which order profile you’d like to link to Order with Google.
Only one menu can be linked to Google per business location. If you have multiple off-premises profiles, then you must select only one order profile per location to publish.
- Click Finish setup.
- After you're set up, you can change the service profile associated with Order with Google by clicking View controls on the Integrations page and selecting a different profile from the drop-down menu.
- If you previously had a menu on your Google Business Profile, you'll need to log in to Google and accept the changes being synced from Order Anywhere.
Reporting on Order with Google
To check how frequently customers are using Order with Google, visit the performance dashboard on Order Anywhere's Integrations page.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, go to Integrations.
- Under Order with Google, click View dashboard.
The dashboard shows the number of orders customers have placed through Order with Google, illustrating its effect on your business. Use the buttons to toggle between All orders placed since setting up the integration or only those from Today, This Week, or This Month.
