Checking Order Anywhere reports and customer reviews

Check order reports and customer reviews from the Order Anywhere Back Office. Order reports help you track and understand your transaction history by providing insights into your customer’s ordering patterns and preferences. Customer reviews allow you to gather valuable feedback, address concerns, and enhance your business’ overall performance.

Order reports

Order reports display past and upcoming orders dependent on your chosen filters. The top tiles show the number of orders for the current day, future days, past days, and the total number of orders.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Orders.

Filtering orders

Filter your orders to view data from specific dates and to find orders that contain specific criteria, like order status, payment type, and the profile used to place the order. You can also edit the table to only view chosen columns. All filters are optional.

  • Click the calendar bar to choose a date range, or enter custom dates.
  • Click Edit table to select the columns to display. Drag and drop each column as desired.
  • Toggle on Auto refresh table data to allow the Order Anywhere Back Office to refresh the table when new orders come in.
  • If you know the order's associated collection code, enter it into the search bar.
  • Choose from the filters provided.
    • All filters: Click to choose from all available filters.
    • Order status: Select one or more order statuses. Available statuses are Pending, Confirmed, Failed, Payment failed, and Canceled.
    • Profile: Select a service profile.
    • Order type: Select an order type. Available order types are Delivery, Pickup, and Dine-in.
    • Payment type: Select a payment type. Available payment types are Online and In-person.

Order data

The Orders page displays information about each order placed through Order Anywhere, including the order status, order type, and the amount.

  • Collection code: The order's unique order ID.
  • Order status: The current status of the order.
    • Pending: A customer placed the order, but it hasn't been received by the POS yet.
    • Confirmed: The order was successfully sent to and received by the POS.
    • Failed: An error prevented the order from being received at the POS. This can occur if the Restaurant POS app is not open.
    • Payment failed: The customer’s online credit or debit card payment was declined.
    • Canceled: The order was voided at the POS.
  • Order type: The service profile associated with the order. This information is useful for restaurants using Order Anywhere for both online and in-person ordering.
  • Created: The date and time when the customer submitted the order.
  • Pickup time: The customer’s selected pickup date and time, or in the case of ASAP orders the creation time plus your preparation time.
  • Amount: The total value of the order.
  • View order details: Click the three-dot icon to open the order details to view the ordered items, customer information, and payment details.

Order details

The Order details screen can be accessed by clicking on the collection code of a specific order, or by clicking on the three-dot icon then clicking View order details.

  • Items: The items ordered.
  • Price: The price of each item ordered.
  • Quantity: The quantity of each item ordered.
  • Collection code: The pickup code assigned to the customer. This can also be found in the customer's order confirmation email.
  • Profile: The specific profile used to place the order.
  • Order type: The service profile type associated with the order. This information is useful for restaurants using Order Anywhere for both online and in-person ordering.
  • Amount: The total value of the order.
  • Created: The date and time when the customer submitted the order.
  • Pickup time: The customer’s selected pickup date and time, or in the case of ASAP orders the creation time plus your preparation time.
  • Order ID: The order's unique Order Anywhere ID.
  • POS order ID: The order's unique POS ID.
  • Note: The personalized message left by the customer.
  • Name: The customer's name.
  • Email: The customer's email.
  • Phone: The customer's phone number.
  • Payment details: The method the customer used to pay for the order, either Online or In-person.

Customer reviews

Only customer reviews submitted after August 24, 2022 will appear in your Order Anywhere account.

Check customer reviews for your Order Anywhere account to learn what guests have to say about your restaurant. Choose to send your customers an email with a link to provide feedback, or request it after the checkout process. Once a customer submits their review, you can access it directly from your Order Anywhere account.

Accessing customer reviews

The Reviews page allows you to view individual customer reviews, as well as a bar graph demonstrating your total and average reviews, categorized by star rating.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Reviews. By default, Order Anywhere lists reviews by date and time in descending order (newest to oldest). You cannot edit, delete, or respond to reviews.
  3. (Optional) Use the search bar to find reviews based on keywords, such as the name of an item.
  4. (Optional) Choose from the filters provided.
    • All filters: Click to choose from all available filters.
    • Rating: Select one or more ratings, from 1 star to 5 stars.
    • Language: Select a language.
    • Type: Select With comment to view all reviews with a comment attached. Leave blank to view all reviews, with or without comment.

Reviews can be published to the Order Anywhere web app by checking the Publish box.

Managing reviews in Order Anywhere

Manage reviews in the Order Anywhere Back Office. Choose to request feedback via email, the web, or both, or disable the ability to review entirely. You can also choose whether or not to display reviews and ratings to your customers on the Order Anywhere web app. Order Anywhere reviews use a 5-star rating system and an optional comment box.

  1. Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Settings.
  3. Click Order settings and scroll down to Customer reviews.
  4. Choose from Email, Web, Both, or Off in the Feedback request source section.
    • Email: An email will be sent to the customer when they receive their order, containing a link to provide feedback.
    • Web: The customer will be prompted to provide feedback directly on the web app once they've checked out.
    • Both: The customer will be prompted and an email will be sent.
    • Off: Feedback will not be requested.
  5. Toggle on Display average rating and showcase select reviews to show this information on the Order Anywhere web app. Toggle it off if you don't want to display this information.
  6. Click Save.
