As of June 2023, the legacy Stock feature is no longer available to new customers. Existing customers who currently use the feature will still have access to it.
If you're interested in managing your inventory, we recommend exploring our Inventory add-on. Get in touch with your account manager or contact us to discuss whether this add-on could benefit your business.
Stock Management at Lightspeed Restaurant (K Series) includes stock locations, stock items, and stock levels. Make sure to create Stock locations first before adding items to the stock and that you have added stock details to items before moving on to Stock levels (Stock > Stock Management).
Refer to these articles for detailed information on Stock Management:
- Stock locations: A stock location is a place where you physically store your items or ingredients. Create stock locations in Lightspeed Restaurant Back Office to be able to add items to the stock. Once created, you can edit and delete stock locations from the Back Office.
- Stock items: Assign items to stocks and add item stock details, such as item composition. This way you'll always have an overview of the new items to order and you'll avoid offering items in your restaurant that are out of stock.
- Stock levels: Stock levels fetches stock levels data for items from the Stock location and Items pages. It provides an overview of the total value of each stock (sum of all Total Costs for all items), the cost price, and the quantity per item. You can import and export stock levels data, sort, filter, and search for items in the table.
