Adding user shifts

If a POS user forgets to clock in to a shift on the POS, you can manually add a user shift from the Back Office.

  1. Log in to the Back Office with your Lightspeed credentials. 
  2. From the main navigation menu, select Hours > New Session. Or select Create a new session on the Monthly Hours page.
  3. Select a Session staff member.
  4. Select the date when the user shift started.
  5. Enter the start and end time of their working hours.
  6. Click Save.

It may take a few moments before the newly created shift appears on the Overview and Monthly hours pages.
