Understanding the Daily Digest

The Daily Digest is emailed every day around 5:30 AM local time to Advanced Insights users who have enabled it. It covers the previous day's sales activity and key metrics. To ensure you receive the Daily Digest in your inbox, add *@lightspeedhq.com to your address book or whitelist all emails from this domain in your email provider.

The Daily Digest is split into multiple sections, each with a different data focus. You'll find information on sales, covers, employees, menu items, and discounts in a series of charts and tables.

Sales

The Daily Digest email begins with an overview of yesterday's sales, including the total net sales amount, discount percentage, and number of voids. This data is then broken down by to show sales information for breakfast, lunch, and dinner dining periods.
