Hi. How can we help?

Setting up the Dirmeier integration

The Dirmeier integration is a paid add-on. Get in touch with your account manager or email sales@lightspeedhq.com to purchase a Dirmeier integration subscription.

Dirmeier is an automated drink dispensing system. The integration between Dirmeier and Lightspeed Restaurant allows you to connect your POS and Dispenser, enabling items set up and ordered through the POS to generate credits in the Dirmeier dispenser.

The integration supports two modes:

  • Reporting Only: Tracks POS orders and compares them with items poured from Dirmeier.
  • Restrict Pouring When Credits Are Available: Allows pouring only when items are ordered through the POS and the logged-in user matches them between systems.

For the Dirmeier integration to function properly, item SKUs in Lightspeed must match the PLUs in the Dirmeier drink dispenser, and your POS and Dispenser must be connected to the same network.

Creating a virtual production center

Set up the Dirmeier drink dispenser as a virtual production center to ensure communication between your POS and Dispenser.

Before creating a virtual production center for Dirmeier, you'll need to disable Organize the content of the docket into courses before enabling Virtual production center. The order of steps is important because this setting is only available when the virtual production center is disabled. 1. Log in to the Back Office with your Lightspeed Restaurant credentials.
  2. From the navigation menu, go to Configuration > Users > POS users.
  3. Under Actions, click Configure on the POS user you’d like to assign a Dirmeier user ID.
