- We released to all Lightspeed Payments users the ability to refund standalone payments directly from the Back Office.
- When processing a standalone payment, there are now refund and email receipt buttons. These enable merchants to process full or partial refunds from the payment terminal and send email receipts.
February 21st, 2024
- On Lightspeed Payments, refunding from the Back Office is now available for all payments (not just standalone payments).
- Customers can execute only one partial refund per payment. Payments older than 90 days cannot be refunded.

Customers in Ireland can now sign up and transact using Lightspeed Payments! By using Lightspeed’s unified payments and POS platform, they no longer have to work with a third-party provider to accept payments via our commerce platform.
