Lightspeed merchants are automatically reviewed for eligibility every month. Eligibility is based on several factors, including your transaction volume and history. We’ll contact you via email if your business qualifies for an offer. You can also review your offers in the Back Office of Lightspeed Restaurant by navigating to Financial Services > Capital.

• Offers remain available for up to 30 days, after which the offer expires and your eligibility is reevaluated.
• Eligible merchants using Lightspeed Payments can apply directly from the Back Office of Lightspeed Restaurant.

If no offers are available, your business is not currently eligible for funding. Check back regularly if you’re interested in a cash advance for your business.

Viewing your offers

If your business qualifies for an offer, you can find details in the Financial Services tab of your Lightspeed account.

Your offer outlines the:

• Financing amount: the amount that will be deposited into your bank account.
• Flat fee: the fee you'll pay over time in exchange for the advance -- there are no other fees or interest.
• Total amount owed: the sum of the financing amount and the flat fee.
• Holdback rate: the percentage of your daily card transactions that will be debited to pay down your financing.

For example, you may receive an offer that looks something like this:

• Financing amount: £30,000
• Flat fee: £4,200
• Total amount owed: £34,200
• Holdback rate: 11%

If you accepted the example offer above, you would receive £30,000. Eleven percent of your daily transaction total would then be deducted from your daily sales until the total amount of £34,200 has been paid. 

Accepting an offer

To accept an offer:

1. Navigate to Financial Services > Capital.
2. Click View offer.
3. Use the slider to select the amount of your advance.
4. Click Continue.

Once your application has been reviewed, you can expect to receive your funds in one to two business days.
