Add allergens to an order to quickly apply common allergens and communicate dietary needs more consistently during service. You can select one or more pre-created allergens or add a custom allergen. Allergens can be assigned to an order and seat. All allergens appear on the KDS and printed order dockets.
Add an allergen to an order
- From the Register screen, create a new order.
In the order summary section, tap Add allergens.
- In the Manage allergens pop-up, do either of the following:
- Select one or more pre-created allergens.
- Tap Create allergen to add a custom allergen.
- Tap Save.
The number of allergens appears in the order summary to show how many allergens are assigned to the order.
Add an allergen to a seat
In the order summary section, change the display mode to By seat.
- Add items to a seat.
- Tap the three dots icon (More) to the right of the seat.
- In the Seat pop-up, tap Add to the right of Allergens.
- In the Manage allergens pop-up, do either of the following:
- Select one or more pre-created allergens.
- Tap Create note to add a custom note.
- Tap Save.
An allergens icon appears in the order summary to show the seat has allergens assigned to it.
