This article outlines placing orders using Order Anywhere from the customer’s perspective.
Order Anywhere offers a convenient online ordering experience for both pickup and table orders. It allows you to browse your restaurant's digital menu, place orders, and pay for them directly through their website.
Placing a pickup order
Pickup profiles allow customers to place orders for takeaway, customize their preferences, and choose between paying online or in person. Depending on the pickup profile settings, customers can pay online, pay in person, order for pickup at a later time, add notes to their order, request cutlery, and/or add a tip.
- Open the restaurant’s Order Anywhere page by scanning the QR code or visiting their web address.
- Tap the item(s) you’d like to order.
- (Optional) Select any desired modifiers.
- Click Add to cart.
- (Optional) Continue adding items to your order as desired.
- Select Checkout to review and complete your order.
- Enter your email address, first name, last name, and phone number. Your order confirmation, status updates, and receipt will be sent to the email provided.
- (Optional) Add notes for the order, requests for disposable cutlery, and/or a tip.
- Select a payment method and proceed to follow the onscreen instructions to pay for your order, either Card to pay online or Pay at pickup to pay in person at the restaurant.
- Click Place order to submit your order to the restaurant.
Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll see a confirmation page indicating that your order is pending and requires confirmation from the restaurant. Then, the restaurant will confirm the order, and you’ll be notified again via email.
- Pickup as soon as possible: Your email will say the order is confirmed and being prepared.
- Pickup at a later date or time: Your email will say the order was received, and then you’ll receive another email alerting you when your order is being prepared closer to the pickup timeframe.
Lastly, come to the restaurant, grab your order, and enjoy your meal.
Placing a table order
Table profiles allow customers to place orders by scanning a QR code while seated at a table in your restaurant, with options to pay online, in person, and add a tip.
- Open the restaurant’s Order Anywhere page by scanning the specific QR code assigned to your table using a mobile device or tablet.
- Tap the item you’d like to order.
- (Optional) Select any desired modifiers.
- Click Add to cart.
- (Optional) Continue adding items to your order as desired.
- Select Checkout to review and complete your order.
- (Optional) Enter your email address, first name, last name, and/or phone number. If provided, an order confirmation, status updates, and receipt will be sent to your email.
- (Optional) Select a tip option or enter a custom tip amount in the Tip section.
- Select a payment method and proceed to follow the onscreen instructions to pay for your order, either Card to pay online or Pay before leaving to pay in person at the restaurant.
- Click Place order to submit your order to the restaurant.
Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll see a confirmation page indicating that the order is pending and requires confirmation from the restaurant. When your order is ready, your meal will be brought to your table to enjoy.

To pay for your meal after eating:
- Scan the unique QR code on your table with your mobile device or tablet.
- Tap Pay the bill.
- (Optional) To split the bill by amount, click By amount and enter the amount you want to pay toward the balance. Otherwise, leave these fields blank to pay the amount in full.
- (Optional) To split the bill by item, click By item and select the items you’d like to pay for. Otherwise, leave these fields blank to pay for the order in full.
- (Optional) Select a tip option or enter a custom tip amount in the Add a tip section.
- (Optional) Check the email receipt box and enter an email address to receive an email receipt.
- Tap Pay to submit your payment.
- (Optional) If you’re splitting the bill with several other guests, then repeat the payment process until the total has been paid in full.
Browsing the digital menu
Customers can browse a restaurant's Order Anywhere website as a digital menu and then order in person at the restaurant.
- Open the restaurant’s Order Anywhere website by scanning the QR code or visiting their web address.
- Browse the menu.
- Proceed to order directly from the restaurant staff.
Using your Orders history
Customers can view, manage, and track their orders from Order Anywhere by visiting their account profile. This will allow them to monitor any current orders or find all previous orders. Orders or payments that fail are also shown so there is no question whether an order went through or not.
- Click on your profile image to open the profile menu.
- Under Settings, click Orders.
Here you will see:
- Any current orders that are pending or in preparation
- Any past orders, including whether they were confirmed or failed.
Clicking on any order will open more details including the date & time, restaurant, items ordered, their prices, and any tips paid.
