Hi. How can we help?

Adding discounts

Add discounts to the Back Office for each type of price reduction you want to offer at the POS, such as a senior discount or employee discount. After setting up a discount, you can also add a menu button for it or enable its QR code to simplify how employees apply that discount to customer orders.

Adding a new discount

Add all discounts to your Back Office that you would like to provide to your customers or employees on the POS.

Be aware that discounts cannot be deleted from the Back Office. To stop using a specific discount later on, edit each of your POS configurations, navigate to the General settings tab, and unselect that discount to remove it from all POS devices.

  1. Log in to the Back Office with your account credentials.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Configuration > Settings > Discounts.
  3. Select Add a discount.
  4. Apply the required information for the discount:
    • Code: Enter the discount code
    • Type: Select the discount type.
    • Rate: Enter the discount rate.
    • Description: Enter a significant description
    • This discount denotes wastage: Activate, if required.
    • Group: Add a new discount group or select an existing group from the drop-down menu.
  5. When you are done, select Save.

The discount will automatically be enabled for all POS configurations and will appear on the applicable POS devices after you refresh them. You can edit POS configurations to disable or re-enable discounts for use.
