After items have been added to an order, you can transfer them between seats or courses.  Transferring items could be useful if items have been assigned to the wrong seat, or if your restaurant prefers a workflow where all items are first added to an order and then assigned to seats and courses laters.

Transferring items to courses or seats

To transfer an item to another seat or to another course:

1. Go to the Orders screen in the Lightspeed Restaurant app and Select the order with the item you wish to transfer. 
2. Tap Edit next to the item you wish to transfer.
3. Tap Transfer to another seat or Transfer to another course depending on which action you want to take.
4. Select the course you wish to add the item to. 
   Note: You can add additional courses or seats by tapping the plus (+) icon.
5. Tap Done to finish.

Transferring courses

If any courses need to be swapped around:

1. Go to the Orders screen in the Lightspeed Restaurant app and Select the order with the item you wish to transfer. 
2. Tap Edit next to the item course you wish to move.
3. Tap Transfer to another course.
4. Select the course you wish to add the item to.
   Note: You can add additional courses by tapping the plus icon (+).
5. Tap Done to finish.
