Create and customize service profiles to enable and enhance the ordering experience for your customers. Customers can order for pickup, delivery, or at their table.
About service profiles
The type of service profile you create sets the tone for how your customers will interact with Order Anywhere.
- Pickup and delivery: Pickup and delivery profiles allow customers to place takeaway or pickup orders before coming to your restaurant. Customers can choose to pick up their order as soon as possible or schedule it for a later date or time.
- Table: Table profiles allow customers to place dine-in orders at your restaurant.
- Menu browsing: Menu browsing profiles allow customers to scan a QR code to view your menu online.
Payments must be enabled in order for Payment settings to appear in ordering profiles.
Creating Pickup and delivery service profiles
Pickup and delivery service profiles allow customers to place takeaway, pickup, or delivery orders before coming to your restaurant. Customers can choose to pick up their order as soon as possible or schedule it for a later date or time.
When creating a new Pickup and delivery profile, you'll be guided through the configuration process by a series of prompts. Once you've created your profile, these settings will also be available in the All settings tab of your profile.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, go to My profiles.
- Click Create profile.

Select Pickup and delivery.
- Click Next to begin the profile configuration process. From here, you'll be guided through a series of prompts.
- From the Basic information prompt, fill in the appropriate information.
- Profile name: Enter a name for the profile.
- Primary menu: Select the menu that will be linked to this profile.

Order preparation time: Choose an estimation of order preparation time in minutes or choose not to inform the customer about preparation times.
- Click Create.
- Click Continue.
- (Optional) Toggle on the option for Order ahead. This will allow customers to schedule future orders.
- Maximum days ahead: The maximum number of days into the future the customer can order. For example, you could set it to only allow orders for up to 7 days.
- Time slot duration: The time in minutes between future orders.
- Limited orders: Click this option to restrict the number of orders taken. In the Orders per time-slot field, enter the number of orders accepted in each time slot duration. For example, accept only five orders every 15 minutes.

Unlimited orders: Click this option to allow unrestricted ordering.
- Click Continue.
- (Optional) Choose a delivery option to offer both pickup and delivery. By default, this section is set to Off.
- Choose Delivery by my staff to assign your employees to the delivery, or Delivery via Uber Direct if you use Uber Direct for delivery.
- Click Create new to set your delivery area. Choose Radius to set your delivery area by distance, or Custom shape to draw a custom delivery area on the map. You can create multiple delivery areas.
- Enter your delivery information.
- Name: Give this delivery zone a name, like Delivery Area.
- Distance: Enter the maximum distance you'll deliver, such as 10 km.
- Color: Choose a custom color for the delivery area. This can help differentiate delivery areas if you have multiple.
- Delivery fee: Enter a delivery fee to be applied to each order.
- Minimum order: Enter a minimum amount an order needs to reach before you'll deliver.

Estimated delivery time: Enter an estimated delivery time in minutes to display to the customer.
- Click Continue.
- From the Payment options page, you can toggle on Online payments, Allow in-person payments, or both. To accept online payments, you will need a payment processor like Lightspeed Payments.

Toggle on Curbside pickup to allow customers to pick up their orders at the curb. You can enter a custom pickup note to display to customers when they order.
- Click Continue.
- From the Checkout page, fill in the appropriate information.
- Customer note: Choose Off for no notes allowed, Optional to allow customers to leave a note if they want to, or Required to force customers to enter order notes.
- Tipping: Toggle on to allow tipping. Check the boxes to allow tipping in amounts of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, or enter a custom percentage.
- Default tip selection: Choose a tip that will automatically be applied to every order.

Allow cutlery request: Toggle on to allow customers to request cutlery with their order.
- Click Continue.

Choose the customer information to be attached to the order. The customer's first name and email are always required. You can disallow a customer to add their last name and phone number, make it optional, or make it required.
- Click Continue.

(Optional) Create a custom schedule by toggling on the Custom schedule button and choosing dates and times for when customers can place orders via this profile. Click the + symbol to add multiple shifts.
If you don't need a custom schedule, Order Anywhere will default to the business hours in your settings. You can also set the schedule to your business hours by clicking Set to business hours or choose custom hours for one day and click Copy to all to set the same hours for every day of the week.
- Click Complete setup.

From the Let's review page, review your information to make sure all your details are complete and correct. If anything is incorrect, click Edit to change it.
- Click Continue.

A confirmation that your profile has been created will pop up. Click Generate QR codes to create codes for customers to scan and view your menu, or Close to go back to the My profiles page.
Creating Table service profiles
Table profiles allow customers to place dine-in orders at your restaurant.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, go to My profiles.
- Click Create profile.

Select Dine-in.
- Click Continue to begin the profile configuration process. From here, you'll be guided through a series of prompts.
- From the Basic information page, fill in the appropriate information.
- Profile name: Enter a name for the profile.
- Primary menu: Select the menu that will be linked to this profile.

Creating Menu browsing profiles
Menu browsing profiles allow customers to scan a QR code to view your menu online.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, go to My profiles.
- Click Create a new profile.

Select Menu browsing.
- Click Next to begin the profile configuration process.
- From the Basic information page, fill in the appropriate information.
- Profile name: Enter a name for the profile.

Primary menu: Select the menu that will be linked to this profile.
- Click Create.
Sharing QR codes and the website link
After you've created and customized your service profiles, share them with your customers. The custom QR codes and link to your website allow customers to access your Order Anywhere page to place orders both inside and outside the restaurant.
Generating custom QR codes for your service profiles
Customers can place orders by scanning your service profile’s QR code using the camera on their mobile phone or tablet. Generate unique QR codes for your profile, print them, and add them to your menus or signs for easy access to your Order Anywhere page.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, go to My profiles.
- Click the name of the profile you want to generate QR codes for.
- Click Details.

Click Generate QR codes.
- Fill in the appropriate information according to the profile's order type.
- Arrange the QR code, header text, and logo: Select if you’d like the QR code to display vertically or horizontally.
- Personalize the header text: Write the text you’d like displayed on your QR codes. For example, “Scan to browse, order, and pay!”
- Display the table number (Table only): Toggle on to display the table number.
- Display the restaurant logo: Toggle on to display the restaurant logo.
- Choose a font: Select your preferred font from the drop-down menu.

Choose a background color: Select your preferred background color from the available options.
- Click Next.
- Fill in the appropriate information according to the profile's order type.
- Floor plan (Table only): Select the relevant floor plan to your QR codes.
- Export settings: Select which file format you’d like to export your QR codes into.
- Size: Select your preferred QR code size from the drop-down menu.

Click Export.
- Print the QR codes (Table only).
- Add the QR codes to their matching table, a physical takeaway menu, or place on your website for customers to scan.
Locating the link to your website
Spread the word about online ordering by placing a custom button on your website or sharing the link to your website on social media.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, go to My profiles.
- Click the name of an existing profile.

Click the copy to clipboard button next the link to your website.
- Add the link to your website to customer-facing pages, such as physical menus or your social media.
Generating PDF menus
Create and customize a digital, printable menu as a PDF file. Some regions require a printed menu for accessibility and transparency.
- Log in to the Order Anywhere Back Office.
- From the navigation menu, click My profiles.
- Click the name of the profile you want to create a PDF menu for.
- Click Details.

Click Generate PDF menu. A pop-up menu will appear where you can configure the appearance of the menu.
- Configure the menu as desired using the options provided. A live preview of the menu will update as you edit the configuration.
- (Optional) Restart building the menu at any time by clicking Reset to default.
- Once complete, click Export to PDF. A PDF with your customized printable menu will automatically download to your device.
PDF menu settings
- Show item image: Enable to display the associated image next to each item.
- Language: Select the menu language.
- Border: Select the width of the menu's outer border in pixels (px).
- Font: Select the font for the menu's text.
- Background color: Select the color for the menu's background in web hexadecimal code. The color can also be selected from the associated dropdown menu.
- Border color: Select the color for the menu's outer border in web hexadecimal code. The color can also be selected from the associated dropdown menu.
- Primary text color: Select the color of the item's name in web hexadecimal code. The color can also be selected from the associated dropdown menu.
- Secondary text color: Select the color for the item's description in web hexadecimal code. The color can also be selected from the associated dropdown menu.
