Hi. How can we help?

Understanding stock locations

A stock location is a place where you physically store your items or ingredients. A default stock location is automatically created when you enable the Stock feature. You only need to add additional stock locations if you keep your items or ingredients in more than one place (Kitchen, Cellar, Bar, etc).
Once created, edit stock locations to change the name, or delete stock locations that you don’t need anymore.

Adding stock locations

Add a stock location for every place where you store your items or ingredients. First time users must enable the stock feature before use.

  1. Log in to the Back Office with your Lightspeed credentials.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Configuration > Settings > Stock.
  3. Enable the stock feature if it’s the first time you use stock locations.
  4. On the Stock list page, click Add a new stock location.
  5. Enter the name of the stock location.
  6. Select Save to add the new location.

  2. From the navigation menu, select Configuration > Settings > Stock.
  3. Select Remove next to the stock location to be deleted.
