Scan to Pay lets customers pay their bill from their phone through Lightspeed Payments by scanning a QR code on the printed check. They can view the bill, pay in full or split it, and add a tip with no payment terminal or app required.
Tables turn over faster because guests can pay when they're ready, staff spends less time carrying terminals around, and built-in tip prompts encourage higher tips at every checkout.

- From the Order screen, tap Print check to print a draft receipt with QR code for Scan to Pay.
Pay with phone (guest)
The guest then completes the payment from their phone.

-
(Optional) Select a suggested tip percentage or enter a custom amount.
- Tap Continue to payment.
-
Select a payment method, and tap Pay to confirm the payment.
Guests can pay with any method available through your Lightspeed Payments account, such as card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, and TWINT. Available methods depend on your region.
