When processing orders on the POS, you may have different order settings defined from the Back Office. These settings affect the order items on the POS, such as the price of an item because of service charge or different taxes when the item is ordered for Takeaway. One of these order settings are known as account profiles in Lightspeed Restaurant.
Account profiles are order types that affect some parameters of an item during a sale. For instance, taxes will change when an item is ordered for “take away” or “delivery”. Add an account profile and then assign this order type to an item. If one account profile is activated, the respective settings of this account profile will be applied to the item during sale on the POS.
