The Receipts screen of the POS is where you can view paid and voiced receipts for the current sales period. This is the screen you would access if you ever need to edit a receipt from the current day.
Understanding the Receipts screen
You can access the Receipts screen from the POS. Log on to the POS, and select the Receipts tab on the bottom navigation bar. You will be brought to the Receipts screen. From here, you can search for receipts by amount, order name or receipt number by using the search field at the top of the screen.
There are two main views for the Receipts screen: select Show all to display all receipts, including edited or voided receipts. Select Hide adjustments to display receipts that have not been edited or voided. The top right corner of the screen displays the view type, meaning if you are viewing receipts for All devices or a selected device.
From the Receipts screen, you can select a receipt from the list on the left-hand side. Each receipt on this list displays the receipt number, time, transaction amount and POS user who processed the transaction. Once you have tapped on a receipt from this list, the selected receipt will display on the right-hand side of the screen. You can then edit the receipt by selecting the green options icon on the bottom of the displayed receipt.
Receipt actions
The receipt actions menu enables you to email, void, refund, and print receipts, void payments, change the payment method used, and create invoices. Tap the green options icon to access this menu and select an action. Available actions will vary based on the permissions configured in the Back Office for a given user group or user.
