Hi. How can we help?

Guest book

Advanced Insights is currently available to Lightspeed Restaurant customers in North America, Australia, and New Zealand. To get access to this feature, contact your Sales Account Manager or Lightspeed Support.

Guest book automatically creates a customer profile with each credit card transaction and updates the profile when the customer returns to your restaurant. Guest book data can help you understand customer spending habits and includes information like a customer’s favorite items, their number of visits across locations, and contact information. You can also create a guest list to segment and export key data to your marketing software.

Guest book uses card data to create unique guest profiles. It automatically adds customers who use a credit card at your restaurant and excludes guests who pay with cash or other tenders. If a guest returns to your restaurant and pays using a different credit card with the same name, their check data and credit card payments sync with their original profile.

Default lists

By default, Guest book automatically includes the Best Guests and Recent Guests lists for you. Best Guests lists the 100 guests who have spent the most money at your restaurant compared to all other guests. Recent Guests list guests who most recently visited your restaurant.

These lists cannot be edited.
