The Lightspeed Kitchen Display System (KDS) displays orders on a separate iPad to show kitchen staff the items they need to make. The KDS replaces a kitchen printer, saving paper and enabling you to track the time it takes to prepare items. Staff can interact with the KDS to mark orders or items ready, remove them from the screen, and alert front-of-house staff by automatically printing a chit when orders or items are complete.
