Deleting your Lightspeed Payments hardware

Should you make changes to your hardware setup, you can easily remove old terminals from your account. Terminals that are currently assigned to a device cannot be deleted. 

To remove a terminal that you no longer use:

  1. In the back office, go to Configuration > Hardware. 
  2. Click on Payment Terminals.
  3. Find the terminal you would like to remove, then click Delete.

Please note, if you delete a Lightspeed Payments terminal that is still assigned to your account, the terminal will reappear within one hour of being removed. To remove a terminal from your account, please reach out to Lightspeed Support.
