Hi. How can we help?

About the Lightspeed Pulse App

Lightspeed Pulse is a business tracking app for mobile devices designed from the ground up for management users to monitor performance from anywhere in the world and stay up to date on what is happening in each location. By using Lightspeed Pulse, users are able to see key metrics at a glance like revenue, covers, and more via easy-to-read graphs and info boxes. It runs on both iOS (available now) and Android (coming soon).

Lightspeed Pulse supports the two most recent versions of iOS and Android.

Installing the app

  1. Make sure your device is connected to your secure Wi-Fi network and a power source.
  2. Open the App Store and search for “Lightspeed Pulse”.
  3. Submit your Apple credentials to authorize the app download.

Once the app is installed, you’ll be able to login. Use the same login credentials used for your Back Office.

Using the app

Lightspeed Pulse is designed to give you the information you want in a clear and concise manner.

  8. A link to unit preferences where you can choose the type of information displayed

When comparing week, month, or year the data is compared to the previous week, month, or year. However, when using Today as the time period, data from the same day in the previous week is used rather than yesterday. As an example, if today is a Saturday, the comparison period is last week's Saturday and not Friday, the day before. This avoids potentially comparing a typically busy day to a typically slow day.

Defining info box terms

Gross sales: The total of all sales and services before discounts and taxes are removed for the current time period, compared to the previous time period.

Net sales: The total of all sales and services after discounts and taxes are removed for the current time period, compared to the previous time period.

Orders: The number of individual orders for the current time period, compared to the previous time period.

Order average: The average amount of each order for the current time period, compared to the previous time period.

Covers: The number of covers for the current time period, compared to the previous time period.

Cover average: The average spent per cover for the current time period, compared to the previous time period.
